About the position
The General Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of building systems and facilities. This role involves a variety of repair and maintenance duties, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work, as well as conducting inspections and responding to maintenance requests.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine building and facility maintenance, including minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
- Conduct inspections of HVAC, lighting, and other essential systems to ensure functionality and safety.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to prolong the life of equipment and systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Assist in moving furniture, equipment, and materials as needed for events or office setups.
Requirements
