About the position

The General Maintenance Worker at Business Integra Inc. is responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks on equipment and buildings. This role requires practical skills in various trades, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work. The position is a contract role based in Fort Bragg, NC, with a work schedule of 5 days a week, 40 hours total, and offers the possibility of hire after the contract period.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings.
• Replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings using plaster or compound.
• Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
• Paint structures and equipment as needed.
• Repair or replace concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.
• Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles.
• Hang doors and install door locks.
• Replace broken window panes.
• Perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (Preferred)
• 2 years of plumbing experience (Required)
• 3 years of masonry experience (Required)
• 2 years of industrial painting experience (Required)
• 2 years of carpentry experience (Required)
• 1 year of electrical experience (Preferred)
• Top Secret security clearance (Required)
• 7 years of experience as a logistic specialist (Required)
