About the position

The General Manager at Sodexo is responsible for leading the Raleigh branch's operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving profitability. This role involves strategic direction, client relationship management, and overseeing business practices to align with company values. The General Manager will also focus on developing new business solutions and maintaining quality standards across services.

Responsibilities

• Provide local leadership and strategic direction to build client relationships and new business opportunities.
• Direct business practices to uphold company mission and values.
• Develop new and emerging business solutions for sustained growth and effective day-to-day operations.
• Manage the warehouse and distribution through processes and policies.
• Monitor quality and integrity through planned and unplanned visits and route rides.
• Plan and implement new processes to deliver the highest quality of services.
• Act as the Central Point of Contact for Client Liaison, promoting a solid business partnership and assisting in contract negotiations.
• Provide strategic leadership to respective units within the system to maintain client satisfaction and retention.
• Drive sales through site visits and partnerships with other divisions and new business outside of food contracts.
• Develop business plans and budgets that support System and District goals, reviewing financial statements to ensure attainment of financial goals.
• Maintain Quality & Company Standards by reviewing reports to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of basic management experience.
• 5 years of basic functional experience.
