The General Manager at Ruby Tuesday is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of service, food quality, and profitability. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team, optimize sales, and maintain a positive dining experience for guests. Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the restaurant's operations including team selection, development, and performance management.
• Drive sales and guest satisfaction while managing food costs, inventory levels, and utility usage.
• Teach, train, and lead team members to maximize sales and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and food quality standards.
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline for hourly employees.
• Review applications, interview candidates, and make hiring recommendations.
• Direct work for employees, including setting hours and weekly schedules.
• Supervise food and beverage production to ensure adherence to established recipes and procedures.
• Utilize digital manager logbook for communication with the management team regarding shift notes and staffing needs.
• Manage food, supplies, and liquor costs through weekly inventory checks.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in restaurant management.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Strong organizational and employee management skills.
• Proven ability to grow sales and inspire team members.
