About the position

The General Manager 3 - Food at Sodexo will oversee the daily operations of a healthcare facility in Northeast Illinois, ensuring high standards of service and patient satisfaction. This role involves collaboration with various teams to enhance the patient experience, manage regulatory compliance, and develop staff while maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the food service program.
  • Evaluate and develop service levels to exceed patient and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with clinical, food service, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the patient experience.
  • Achieve successful regulatory inspections and audits.
  • Perform management functions including direct supervision of managers and frontline staff.
  • Manage cash handling protocols and control procedures according to Sodexo policies.
  • Develop and maintain client and customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of basic management experience.
  • 3 years of basic functional experience in food service or healthcare.
