About the position

The General Manager 4 at Sodexo will oversee food operations at Bloomberg in Arlington, VA, managing a high-volume pantry and catering services. This role requires excellent customer service and client relations skills, as well as meticulous attention to detail and a passion for hospitality. The General Manager will be responsible for managing budgets, client relationships, inventory, and a small team, while ensuring the smooth operation of food services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the high-volume pantry and catering services at the Arlington location.
• Manage the budget and finances for the food operation.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure excellent customer service.
• Order inventory and manage stock levels for the pantry.
• Coordinate catering services, including food delivery, setup, and cleanup.
• Supervise a team of 1 Supervisor and 5 hourly employees.
• Support operations at the DC location as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of management experience.
• 5 years of customer service experience.
• Strong customer relationship management skills.
