About the position

Bennett's Sandwich Shop is seeking a highly motivated General Manager for a high-volume, high-energy sandwich restaurant. The General Manager will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with company standards, manage team dynamics, and drive sales and profitability. This role is crucial for maintaining a positive work environment and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant, making final decisions on important matters.
• Adhere to company standards to increase sales and minimize costs.
• Optimize sales and profit performance, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and energy of the store, ensuring exemplary health inspection marks.
• Lead and motivate the restaurant team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Respond to guest complaints and manage social media interactions to maintain positive customer relations.
• Manage company operational standards and ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2-4 years supervisory experience in food service or retail environment, including Profit & Loss responsibility.
• Good communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.

Nice-to-haves

• College or University Degree preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
