About the position

The General Manager at OnTrac is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations. This role involves guiding facility management in the development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the organization's services, ensuring adherence to contracts, and maintaining effective communication with team members and independent contractors.

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct facility management in the development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the organization's services.
• Direct, plan and budget preparation based on corporate goals and objectives.
• Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and report these results to the Regional Operations and General Managers.
• Maintain engineered staffing levels for all positions, including coaching, skills development, rewards and recognition, performance management, and staff productivity for hourly and salaried positions.
• Ensure adherence to all aspects of the contract and work with Vendors and Independent Contractors for accountability to the operating agreement.

Requirements

• GED/Diploma required, bachelor's degree in Logistics or related discipline preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years management experience, 2 in a similar industry; or equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience.
• 6 years' experience in industry or related field; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Experience with an independent contractor model; strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to inspire a shared vision, empower and engage a team.
• Strong organization and time-management skills utilizing MS Office Suite.
