About the position

The General Manager at TOCA Soccer Training Facility in Charlotte, NC, is responsible for leading operations, team development, and community engagement. Responsibilities

  • Team up with the Regional Director of Operations to scout, recruit, and build a dream team.
  • Coach, inspire, and lead your team, fostering a culture where every member feels valued.
  • Get creative with team engagement to keep turnover low and energy high.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the center is clean and ready to impress.
  • Lead a squad of coaches and front-desk staff to create a guest-first atmosphere.
  • Manage recruiting and scheduling for training sessions and guest needs.
  • Design and implement maintenance protocols for facility upkeep.
  • Drive a guest-centric mindset, delivering exceptional service and addressing concerns.
  • Track and crush KPIs related to facility upkeep, guest satisfaction, and revenue growth.
  • Deliver a great experience to new guests, aiming for a 60% conversion rate.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive acquisition and retention initiatives.
  • Host community events and build partnerships to enhance local engagement.
  • Act as the face and voice of TOCA in the local soccer scene.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of operations leadership experience, preferably in sports, retail, or hospitality.
  • Ability to manage schedules and maintain smooth operations.
  • Passion for people and sports, with strong community engagement skills.
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours to accommodate soccer activities.
  • Physical stamina to handle job demands, including lifting and being on feet.
  • Strong financial acumen to assess decision impacts on the bottom line.
  • Excellent communication skills to create a welcoming environment.
