About the position

The General Manager at D-BAT is responsible for leading the operations of a cutting-edge Baseball and Softball Training Facility. This role focuses on creating exceptional training experiences, fostering a positive team culture, and driving key performance indicators (KPIs) across various operational aspects. The General Manager will work closely with the Regional Director of Operations to build a strong team, manage day-to-day operations, and engage with the community to promote the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Development: Collaborate with the Regional Director of Operations to recruit and build a high-performing team, fostering a culture of growth and engagement.
  • Center Operations: Oversee daily operations to ensure the facility is clean, organized, and guest-ready, while leading a team of coaches and front-desk staff to create a guest-first atmosphere.
  • Community Marketing & Sales Enablement: Drive guest acquisition and retention through community engagement, events, and partnerships, while ensuring a high conversion rate for new guests.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of operations leadership experience, preferably in sports, retail, or hospitality.
  • Strong passion for people and sports, with the ability to connect and engage with the community.
  • Ability to work during non-traditional hours and handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and being on your feet.
  • Strong financial acumen to assess the impact of operational decisions on the bottom line.
  • Excellent communication skills to create a welcoming environment.
