About the position

The City Leader at Zen Educate will play a pivotal role in launching and growing the company's presence in Los Angeles. This position involves strategic leadership, team building, and fostering partnerships with educational leaders to enhance the recruitment of temporary educators. The City Leader will be responsible for defining growth strategies, achieving revenue targets, and ensuring operational excellence in dispatching educators to schools. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and eager to make a significant impact in a high-growth tech startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Define your region's launch and growth strategy, setting and achieving ambitious revenue targets.
• Own the overall end-to-end delivery of a new city including planning, hiring, people management, launch, and everything in between.
• Own the strategy for achieving consistent month-over-month growth in your region.
• Build and coach a high-performing team of Account Managers responsible for delighting schools and increasing usage of Zen Educate's services.
• Collaborate with Product, Educator Onboarding, Marketing, Compliance, and Sales teams to ensure success in your city.
• Foster strategic partnerships with education leaders and key district accounts.
• Own the execution and drive performance improvement of logistics and operations for dispatching teachers and teaching assistants.

Requirements

• At least 5 years in a Customer Success Manager or Account Manager role.
• Proven track record of hitting/exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong passion for positively impacting education.
• Ability to act with urgency and take ownership of tasks.
