About the position

The General Manager at Costa Oil - 10 Minute Oil Change is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while overseeing the daily operations of the service center. This role involves supervising employees, managing customer interactions, and ensuring that all service tasks are performed efficiently and professionally. The General Manager will also handle administrative duties, including inventory management and employee scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising employees in the Service Center.
  • Answering phones and greeting customers.
  • Handling monetary transactions.
  • Assisting with hiring and firing of employees.
  • Performing service reviews with customers.
  • Ordering inventory and completing office paperwork.
  • Creating work schedules for staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience as a technician and/or shop manager.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Technical skills to perform oil change responsibilities.
  • Basic computer skills including knowledge of Internet software and order processing systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with power tools and hand tools.
  • Mechanical knowledge.
