About the position

The General Manager for the DC Power Eastern Region at Concentric LLC is responsible for overseeing the operations and service delivery of technicians within the region. This role focuses on managing financial performance, ensuring high-quality customer service, and fostering a culture of safety and teamwork among staff. The General Manager will also collaborate with regional sales leadership and drive key business initiatives to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate job expectations with Service Professionals and other personnel.
  • Assign, schedule, prioritize repairs, monitor, appraise job results, and foster teamwork.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and coach staff to reduce customer downtime and maintain high-quality service.
  • Develop a culture of safety that meets or exceeds company standards.
  • Maintain high standards of quality customer repairs and service.
  • Initiate, coordinate, monitor, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Resolve personnel and service problems by analyzing data and recommending actions.
  • Respond to internal and external customer requests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Stay updated on professional knowledge through workshops and publications.
  • Develop thorough knowledge of company operating standards and safety instructions.
  • Monitor technician WIP reports and ensure limited hours remain for EOM.
  • Collaborate with regional sales leadership to coordinate activities between Sales and Operations teams.
  • Manage and drive financial forecasting and results.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of DC Power Technical experience.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing internal staff; regional managing experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
  • Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on mechanical repair experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven service environment.
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and needs.
  • Extensive skills in Microsoft Office Products.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
