About the position

The General Manager Development Program (GMDP) at Flint Group is a transformative, full-time program designed to groom top talent for leadership roles as General Managers within the company. Participants will engage in an immersive 18-24 month experience, working closely with current General Managers to drive value, enhance customer service, and develop high-performing teams. The program emphasizes accelerated development of general management skills, providing exposure to various business operations and leadership capabilities, with the potential for promotion to General Manager upon successful completion.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with General Managers to drive revenue growth and margin expansion at Flint brands.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance the effectiveness of sales operations.
  • Build industry-best culture and engagement in partnership with General Managers.
  • Work closely with brand leadership to build and develop high-performing teams.
  • Become a subject matter expert on Flint's playbook to drive change by deploying the overall philosophy.
  • Evaluate and improve training experiences for field and office employees.
  • Train and develop others in the organization on the playbook and best practices.
  • Work as a member of the leadership team to refine operations roadmap and vision.
  • Hire, retain, and develop high-performing team members.
  • Establish credibility and strong working relationships with Flint's senior leadership team.
  • Participate in industry training programs to learn effective sales, office operations, and customer service best practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years management experience.
  • Proven success managing/leading in a small-medium sized business environment with rapid growth.
  • Experience in a customer-oriented environment with a track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills and a self-starter with a 'roll-up-your-sleeves' attitude.
  • Experience building and managing a high-performing, lean team.
