About the position

The General Manager, Distribution Center will oversee the operations of a new facility in Lakeland, FL, for a leading provider of auto glass repair and replacement services. This role is crucial for establishing the facility's culture, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring operational success while leading hiring initiatives and implementing new processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of site operations, including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation.
• Ensure that the site meets all project goals, timelines, and quality standards.
• Manage and supervise site management, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
• Execute business plans for fulfillment operations, ensuring alignment across business segments to meet stakeholder and customer needs.
• Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures.
• Identify and implement solutions to enhance productivity, optimize inventory management processes, and minimize part breakage for improved service delivery.
• Collaborate with field stakeholders to enhance processes, ensuring exceptional end-to-end fulfillment experiences that exceed quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, addressing any non-compliance issues promptly.

Requirements

• BA or higher level of education preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in site management or a similar role, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and teams.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, fulfillment, or distribution segments preferred.
• Experience with Korber or related WMS software preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to exceed KPIs in service-oriented industries, prioritizing quality, business partnerships, and customer outcomes.
