About the position

The General Manager for the Earthwork Division at PNK Group is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing all operations within the division. This includes project planning, resource allocation, team leadership, and maintaining client relations. The position requires a strong focus on quality, safety, and operational efficiency, with the goal of driving growth and successful project completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Earthwork Division, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to high-quality standards.
  • Develop and implement division strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, optimizing profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive team performance by setting clear goals, mentoring team members, and fostering a positive, productive work environment.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in earthwork, excavation, or civil construction, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of earthmoving equipment, construction techniques, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Proven track record in budget management, financial forecasting, and cost control.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in project management software, MS Office, and other relevant industry tools.

Nice-to-haves
