About the position

The General Manager at Think Together is responsible for overseeing regional operations, ensuring programmatic excellence, and maintaining the health of the teams within their assigned regions. This role involves strategic leadership, budget management, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve organizational goals. The General Manager will lead by example, support staff development, and ensure compliance with educational standards while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure ongoing regional operations and programmatic excellence.
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for regional teams.
  • Manage budget and resource utilization effectively.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and business retention.
  • Support and develop Directors of Program and Operations in the region.
  • Lead by example and embody organizational values and culture.
  • Communicate with educational boards and maintain partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with educational program requirements.
  • Monitor program implementation and quality standards.
  • Manage day-to-day operations across the region.
  • Analyze data to diagnose problems and strategize solutions.
  • Participate in community events and promote organizational awareness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social service, education, or related field; master's degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of senior management experience in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in leadership positions within education or expanded learning environments.
  • Experience as a site or district administrator is a plus.
  • Strong organizational management skills with a focus on coaching and developing teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups.
  • Passion for education and commitment to community service.

  • Experience with budget management and fiscal oversight.
  • Knowledge of California education code and expanded learning landscape.
