About the position

The General Manager (Site Leader) at Tommy's Express Car Wash is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the car wash location, ensuring profitability, managing staff, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves strategic planning, financial management, and community engagement to drive sales and operational success.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day operations of the car wash location.
• Oversee the development and management of up to twenty employees.
• Report to SunDream Inc. ownership and manage a rotating full-time schedule.
• Manage store conditions, car wash execution, and profitability.
• Drive sales results through strategic planning and action initiation.
• Execute and implement company initiatives and communicate objectives to the team.
• Analyze metrics to identify opportunities and collaborate with management to drive sales.
• Manage the store budget and daily operations to achieve business objectives tied to the P&L.
• Pursue local networking opportunities, including community events and partnerships.
• Lead recruitment and manage scheduling, reporting, and administrative tasks.
• Develop strong teams and foster a culture of high performance and engagement.
• Facilitate equipment maintenance and site audits for quality assurance.
• Perform 'Manager on Duty' responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of retail management experience with proven leadership ability.
• Experience managing a diverse staff of full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead change while maintaining operational effectiveness.
• Experience with retail finance, including P&L management.
• Technical and mechanical capacity with basic understanding of Excel and office applications.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to company standards.

• Previous express car wash experience is a plus.
