About the position

The General Manager at G2 Secure Staff is responsible for overseeing all operations at the Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT). This role involves managing safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and staff. The General Manager will develop strategic plans for growth and operational efficiency while actively participating in the Safety Management System (SMS).

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the station's operations at FAT.
• Oversee the Safety Management System (SMS) and develop the station safety plan.
• Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA's) related to operational performance.
• Implement the station's strategic plan focusing on growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Handle employee relations, including counseling, terminations, and training.
• Manage daily operations, including scheduling, payroll, and budget management.
• Ensure compliance with FAA and TSA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with airline management and act as a liaison with FAA representatives.
• Adhere to company policies and participate in achieving company objectives.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least four (4) years of airline operations experience.
• Five (5) years of progressive management experience in a services industry.
• Working knowledge of financial reports and budgets.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel.
• Flexibility and multitasking ability in a changing environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree.
• Three (3) years or more of management experience in contract services.
