About the position

The General Manager of Financial Services will lead the Financial Services division of an innovative healthcare technology company based in Austin, Texas. This role is responsible for driving the overall vision, execution, and impact of financial services solutions, ensuring financial transparency and operational efficiency within the healthcare sector. The position includes full P&L accountability and requires collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance business performance and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall vision and strategy for the Financial Services division
  • Leverage extensive network to identify and secure strategic partnerships and opportunities
  • Drive deal origination, structuring, and closure to accelerate division growth
  • Oversee divisional P&L, coordinating with BU leaders and FP&A on financial performance
  • Ensure alignment of business strategies and execution with divisional goals
  • Report on financial performance, providing insights to the Executive Team and Board of Directors
  • Serve as the primary representative of the Financial Services division, driving growth and fostering trust
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to position products, value propositions, and solutions effectively
  • Manage the sales pipeline, including tracking, reporting, and quota management
  • Conduct ongoing financial reviews and provide financial reporting for the Board and Executive Committee
  • Identify growth opportunities through M&A in collaboration with the Corporate Development team
  • Work closely with Legal, Marketing, and Product teams to support client engagement and product development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in leadership roles within Financial Services, preferably in healthcare or payments
  • Deep industry relationships and an established network within healthcare financial services
  • Proven track record of originating and closing significant deals in the healthcare financial services space
  • Strong understanding of healthcare payment models, revenue cycle management, and financial technology solutions
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strategic partnerships
  • Experience in complex deal structuring and negotiation
  • Proven track record of driving financial success and growth
  • Deep understanding of sales, business development, and financial planning processes
  • Expertise in cross-functional coordination to deliver business success
  • Exceptional communication skills, including experience engaging with C-level executives and board members
  • Ability to lead and inspire a cross-functional team to achieve ambitious goals
