About the position

The General Manager at CycleBar is responsible for driving studio sales, managing membership renewals, and achieving ancillary service goals. This role requires strategic outreach to new customers, effective lead management, and fostering strong relationships with both prospective and current members. The General Manager exemplifies leadership qualities and is committed to creating a vibrant and welcoming community within the studio, all while upholding the company's mission of providing an energetic communal experience.

Responsibilities

  • Meet studio sales goals and membership renewals.
  • Engage in strategic marketing efforts to generate leads for the studio.
  • Follow the LASER process to convert leads to members.
  • Build rapport and lasting relationships with all members.
  • Retain existing members and generate referrals.
  • Handle rider concerns with a solutions-focused attitude.
  • Hire and train new CBX Team Members.
  • Manage CBX schedule and supervise team performance.
  • Collaborate with the Studio Owner to set financial targets.
  • Conduct pre-planning to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience.
  • Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Reps.
  • Ability to manage and drive revenue streams: memberships and retail.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via email.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment.
  • Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment.
  • Affinity and passion for fitness.
  • Solid writing and grammar skills.
  • Highly organized and proficient in data management.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, punctual, reliable, and neat.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general public.
  • Proficiency with computers and studio software.
