About the position

The General Manager at Bruegger's Bagels is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store's operations with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining a positive work environment. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring audit readiness, and leading a team in a one-shift model, with the store closing at 2 PM. The General Manager will also be involved in training, recruiting, and developing team members while achieving food cost and labor targets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of store operations with a 'treat it like you own it' philosophy.
• Ensure the store is audit ready and that catering/mobile/in-store orders are executed efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
• Manage team schedules, breaks, and ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
• Conduct daily deposits and prepare for the next day's operations.
• Recruit quality team members and develop internal talent through training and mentorship.
• Analyze P&L statements and implement strategies to achieve food cost goals and labor targets.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of prior experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a restaurant setting.
• Hands-on operational experience with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Experience with P&L analysis and achieving food cost and labor targets.
• Valid Driver's License.
