About the position

The General Manager at Hall of Fame Museum Café is responsible for leading and developing the food service team, managing budgets, and ensuring high-quality service and operations. Responsibilities

• Mentor, lead, and develop the food service team
• Conduct employment activities including staffing, interviewing, training, and performance reviews
• Manage the budget and ensure adherence to financial parameters
• Ensure proper maintenance of inventory levels for food and non-food items
• Interact professionally and effectively with all levels of individuals
• Provide prompt, accurate, and professional responses to clients and company management

Requirements

• 3 or more years of demonstrated success leading a team of culinary professionals
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of labor costs, food costs, and related factors
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
