About the position

The Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club (TRFC) is seeking a dynamic General Manager (GM) to lead the club towards exceptional service delivery through a 'members first' philosophy. The GM will oversee the entire club operation, focusing on financial performance, member engagement, and the leadership and development of team members.

Responsibilities

• Provides executive leadership that supports the strategic vision of the club, as defined by the TRFC Ownership Group.
• Maintains regular open and clear communication with the TRFC Ownership Group, including regular reporting, insight and analysis of club operations and/or industry trends.
• Leads membership retention and recruitment efforts through member and community engagement, relevant programs, excellent services and maintained facilities.
• Responsible for the club's financial stability through oversight and monitoring of the annual budget, financial statements, capital improvements, revenue goals and projections.
• Ensures the development and successful implementation of club policies and procedures in accordance with the vision of the organization, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
• Fosters collaboration across all departments, ensuring team member's efforts and development are aligned with the club's mission/vision, policies, procedures, and goals.
• Establishes clear expectations for service excellence, manages employee performance and implements robust hiring and training processes to achieve desired service levels.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership and management experience in a similar club environment or within the hospitality industry.
• Demonstrated experience in food and beverage operations.
• A degree in Hospitality Management or Business is highly desirable or relevant years' experience.
• Demonstrated business and financial acumen, with experience in overseeing the various business functional areas (HR, Marketing, Contracts, Facilities, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail that results in a high-quality member experience.
• Demonstrated ability to create a culture of teamwork and excellence.
• Excellent written, oral, and public speaking skills with the ability to be persuasive and foster strong interpersonal relationships.
• Ability to solve problems and recognize effective solutions.
