About the position

As a General Manager at Aramark's LifeWorks Restaurant Group, you will oversee multiple contracted services for clients, managing operations that generate significant revenue. Your role will involve leading a team to deliver exceptional service, building client relationships, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. This position requires a strong focus on financial performance, client satisfaction, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team providing operational expertise in contracted services and manage hands-on execution of operations.
  • Manage client and community relationships, continually assessing operations and developing plans for optimal service.
  • Build, develop, and lead a management team and staff to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Recommend methods and resources for service improvement and growth based on operational needs and contractual obligations.
  • Manage a budget in partnership with Finance and assist in designing improvements for financial performance and operational productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and maintain associated records and reports.
  • Ensure adherence to Aramark's operational standards, including safety standards and Business Conduct Policy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management preferred.
  • Strong focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship, and business growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and senior management.
  • Ability to read and implement contractual requirements and identify operational opportunities.
  • Experience in the service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment.
  • Proven leadership experience managing other managers.
  • Experience in creating and managing departmental budgets and financial controls.
  • Experience in crafting product sales strategies and implementing operational programs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a senior management role within the hospitality or service industry.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and compliance regulations in food service operations.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 based on experience and qualifications.
  • Potential for additional compensation through bonuses or commissions.
