About the position

The General Manager, Hospitality & Commercial at LAZ Parking is responsible for overseeing the financial, operational, safety, and service success of all hotels and commercial properties within the market. This role supports the Regional Vice President and ensures that revenue is maximized while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and safety standards. The General Manager is tasked with managing teams, cultivating client relationships, and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and operational protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the financial, operational, safety and service success at all hotels and commercial properties within the market.
  • Manage, plan, schedule, train, and direct the activities of all hospitality and commercial management.
  • Ensure increased revenue, controlled expenses, and customer satisfaction by maintaining high safety and service standards.
  • Conduct daily stand-up meetings and ensure attendance by management staff.
  • Assist in the management and development of hotel and commercial teams to achieve goals and initiatives.
  • Identify high potential employees for growth opportunities within the organization.
  • Participate in the recruiting and onboarding process for commercial and hospitality accounts.
  • Implement safety initiatives and resolve safety concerns within hospitality and commercial accounts.
  • Drive service results and establish goals based on service metrics.
  • Cultivate client relationships and ensure business retention.
  • Plan and execute the opening of new hospitality and commercial locations within the market.
  • Prepare and submit parking agreements for legal review.
  • Ensure claims and safety training are consistently implemented within the market.
  • Manage financial success, including audit compliance and payroll processing.
  • Prepare financial and operational reports as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of management experience.
  • Experience managing P&Ls.
  • Prior experience in the hospitality and commercial industry (Parking, Restaurants, Hotels, Class A Buildings, Office Buildings, etc.).
  • Experience managing multi-site facilities is required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and General Microsoft Office Applications.
