The HUB Stadium, recognized as Detroit's premier destination for axe throwing and various entertainment options, is seeking a General Manager to oversee its multi-million-dollar revenue center. This role is pivotal in leading and developing all aspects of the business, ensuring operational excellence and guest satisfaction. The General Manager will be responsible for setting business objectives and performance goals across departments, conducting regular meetings with department heads to review procedures and performance metrics. Financial oversight is a key component of this position, requiring the preparation and presentation of financial and operational reports to senior management. In this dynamic role, the General Manager will create a quality environment through effective staffing, evaluations, and maintenance of operational standards. Responsibilities include overseeing scheduled inventories, ensuring compliance with administrative processes, and managing front-of-house scheduling to meet budgeted labor targets. The General Manager will also implement expense control systems, monitor department expenses, and ensure appropriate forecasting systems are utilized. Collaboration with the Sales & Marketing, Active Entertainment, Beverage, and Kitchen teams is essential to develop and implement promotions and innovative ideas that enhance guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and administrative skills, proven problem-solving abilities, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. With a minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership role within the restaurant or entertainment industry, the General Manager will have superior knowledge of operational functions, including finance, customer service, and employee management.
