About the position

The General Manager will oversee daily operations at a franchised limited service hotel, ensuring excellence in guest services and achieving organizational goals. This role requires strong leadership and management skills to direct hotel operations, implement company policies, and maintain high levels of guest and team member satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the hotel.
  • Lead service initiatives to enhance guest experience.
  • Ensure adherence to budgets and profitability targets.
  • Direct all hotel operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Implement company policies and standards, overseeing sales and marketing efforts.
  • Develop the executive team and resolve guest inquiries.
  • Facilitate hotel-wide meetings and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
  • Monitor and enhance team member performance, conducting evaluations and providing professional development.
  • Recruit and train team members, ensuring effective task performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a General Manager.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration or Business Administration.
  • Strong leadership skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in managing midscale and/or upper-midscale hotels.
  • Familiarity with local and regional markets.
