About the position

The General Manager in Training at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including retail, restaurant, and tire care services. This role emphasizes customer service, team management, and sales growth, providing opportunities for career advancement within a supportive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the store, restaurant, and tire care operations.
• Ensure teams focus on customer service and satisfaction.
• Promote sales growth through effective merchandise execution.
• Train and supervise a team of 5-10 employees.
• Effectively manage budgets and P&L statements.
• Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of retail, travel stop, or c-store management experience.
• 2 or more years of experience managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2 Million or more.
• 2 or more years of experience effecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• 2 or more years of experience supervising and training employees.
• Valid Driver License.
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
