About the position

The General Manager at Lunchpail Service Partners in Lakeland, FL, is responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations of the HVAC company. The ideal candidate will implement innovative strategies and manage all aspects of the business, including sales, operations, financial performance, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day production of the company, interfacing with the executive leadership team, finance, and management of field operations.
  • Oversee successful execution of all Plumbing, Electrical & HVAC services.
  • Provide oversight and accountability, leading the management team to ensure departments are on track and within budget.
  • Champion the development and implementation of organizational management protocols and best practices.
  • Ensure long and short-term plans for company growth are met.
  • Drive safety, quality, and profitability to meet or exceed company objectives.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and complete reports on the operating condition of the company.
  • Act as a strategic partner on the leadership team and liaison among the sales, service, installation, and operations departments.
  • Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment for all team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of verifiable full-time management experience in residential HVAC.
  • Working knowledge of residential HVAC methods, techniques, systems, and codes.
  • Knowledge of modern business operations, including CRM, dispatch software, and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience managing financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibility.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
  • Successful history of building high-performing skilled trade teams.
