About the position

Lindsay Windows is seeking an experienced Plant Manager for its Lakewood, WA facility. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $125,000 per year. The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring that all processes from quoting to order fulfillment, manufacturing, shipping, invoicing, and collection are executed efficiently and effectively. The role requires a strong focus on meeting production targets and deadlines, with an emphasis on shipping products on time and in full. In this position, the Plant Manager will develop and implement strategies aimed at improving productivity, reducing costs, and increasing output. This includes managing scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to optimize the manufacturing process. The Plant Manager will also enforce health, safety, and compliance protocols to maintain a safe work environment for all employees. Analyzing production data and metrics will be a key responsibility, as it will help identify areas for improvement and drive operational excellence. Effective communication is crucial in this role, as the Plant Manager will need to coordinate activities with employees, customers, and central staff. Additionally, the Plant Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing plant personnel, ensuring that the team is well-equipped to meet the demands of the production process. The role also involves overseeing local product sales and customer interactions, representing Lindsay Windows in the local community, and helping to identify potential prospects for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire operations of the Lindsay Windows WA facility.
  • Ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and increase output.
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to optimize the manufacturing process.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing leadership role.
  • Experience in discrete manufacturing is preferred.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
