Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of around 25-30 employees, including technicians and department leads.
• Plan and coordinate labor requirements on the shop floor to efficiently support incoming inspections, teardown, repair jobs, and field service work.
• Develop and implement quality control processes to meet customer requirements.
• Assist in coordinating customer visits and provide technical and scheduling support as needed.
• Ensure that all staff are adequately trained and have a clear development plan.
• Assist in implementing a continuous improvement culture through Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
• Coordinate the maintenance and upkeep of the facility and its equipment.

Requirements

• Experience in Electric Motor Repair, ideally with AC and DC electric motors, including diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
• Strong leadership skills to mentor and coach a team of technically skilled employees.
• Experience in environments focusing on continuous improvement (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma) is highly preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with customers to provide technical support and address service inquiries.
• Experience working in or overseeing machine shop operations is a plus.

• Strong background in machining and familiarity with electric motors.
