About the position

The position is responsible for the day-to-day management of a restaurant, focusing on growing sales, achieving EBITDA, and fostering a culture of accountability. The role involves recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and leading both Managers and Team Members to ensure operational success and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Own the restaurant's performance and community engagement by growing sales and achieving EBITDA.
  • Manage all front of house (FOH) and heart of house (HOH) results, including Ecosure compliance.
  • Ensure the CHARM service model is fully integrated by the FOH Team with every guest interaction.
  • Communicate company initiatives and tactics to drive sales and profitability effectively.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop Managers and Team Members through consistent daily interactions and weekly meetings.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and follow-ups with Managers and Team Members.
  • Reinforce skills of Team Members and leadership behaviors of Managers.
  • Identify and implement strategies to retain top Team Members.
  • Control receiving and inventory levels, reporting concerns to the Area Coach (AC).
  • Create and delegate daily goals and tasks, ensuring completion through consistent follow-up.
  • Monitor sales performance to ensure proper scheduling and staffing, developing strategies to meet sales goals.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and all state and federal wage and hour regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Assistant General Manager (AGM) or General Manager (GM) in a restaurant setting.
  • Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
  • ServSafe Certified preferred or able to obtain certification prior to completing training.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to obtain a liquor license/permit is necessary.
  • Commitment to excellence in friendly service and ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to foster collaboration and teamwork within the team.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
