About the position

As a General Manager at Nalley Hyundai, you will play a pivotal role in redefining the car-buying experience while leading a team focused on exceptional guest service. This position requires a strong, energetic leader with a passion for developing talent and driving results in a high-volume automotive retail environment. You will be responsible for overseeing dealership operations, managing staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction, all while promoting a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead from the front lines and consistently work the sales desk to engage with customers.
  • Hire, train, and motivate all department managers to achieve dealership goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with lending institutions and manufacturer personnel.
  • Communicate management policies and procedures to all team members to build morale and foster a positive work environment.
  • Assist sales managers in meeting volume commitments to the manufacturer.
  • Set monthly and annual goals with managers and review performance against these goals.
  • Ensure that the CIT list is resolved before deadlines and manage asset effectively.
  • Motivate, reward, and train employees to uphold the company's core values.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of automotive experience highly preferred.
  • Experience as an automotive General Manager is required.
  • Strong used car management skills and a proven track record in the automotive retail industry.
  • Excellent customer satisfaction index (CSI) history and ability to drive results in a high-volume dealership.
  • Strong asset management skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience as an automotive General Sales Manager, New Car Manager, Finance Director, or Used Car Manager.
