About the position

The General Manager at BOJ of WNC, LLC is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant management, ensuring high standards of service, food quality, and employee performance. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing operations, training staff, and maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for both customers and employees. The General Manager must be available to guide the management team and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Final responsibility for recruitment, selection, development, appraisal, and discipline of employees.
  • Effective scheduling of managers and crew according to labor guidelines.
  • Maintain high standards of employee appearance and conduct.
  • Train managers and crew to meet current and future needs.
  • Manage the physical facility and equipment to ensure first-class condition.
  • Maintain a clean environment with a health rating of not less than 95.
  • Manage food and supplies requirements, including ordering and inventory control.
  • Ensure high standards of food quality and safety in compliance with regulations.
  • Manage cash handling, reconciliation, and deposits according to company policies.
  • Complete all required reports and paperwork accurately and timely.
  • Engage in local store marketing and maintain community relationships.
  • Ensure a safe and secure restaurant environment.

Requirements

  • Completed training for all positions in the restaurant with certification.
  • Completion of the Management Training Program.
  • Successful completion of all training workshops for Unit Director.
  • Pass Field Exam with a score of 90% or better.
  • Serve Safe certified.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary ranging from $52,000 to $60,000 per year.
