About the position

Nimbus Smoke, Vape, & CBD is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and oversee operations across four retail locations. This role involves managing sales, inventory, staffing, and ensuring exceptional customer service while staying updated on industry trends and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, particularly in the smoke, vape, and CBD sector, and will be responsible for driving business growth and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize your previous managerial experience to effectively oversee all aspects of all Nimbus stores operations, including sales, inventory management, exceptional customer service, staffing, and more.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the smoke, vape, and CBD industry, staying up-to-date with the latest products, brands, and customer preferences.
  • Lead by example, hiring, training, and supervising a team of knowledgeable and customer-focused staff members.
  • Develop and implement successful sales strategies to drive revenue growth and exceed targets.
  • Maintain a visually appealing Nimbus store environment that is organized and reflects the latest industry trends.
  • Ensure outstanding customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and consistently exceeding customer expectations.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, proactively placing orders to guarantee a well-stocked and diverse product selection.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute engaging promotional campaigns and events.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations governing the sale of smoke, vape, and CBD products.

Requirements

  • Be able to successfully manage 4 retail locations along in all aspects (Sales, inventory, staffing, etc.)
  • Previous experience in a retail management/general manager role (minimum 3 years). Past managerial role in this industry is a huge plus.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of smoke, vape, and CBD products, including brands, flavors, and usage.
  • Proven track record of successfully achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver outstanding results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with staff and customers.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to be familiar and stay up to date with all local, state, and federal regulations related to smoke, vape, and CBD products.
  • Ability to hire, fire, and train employees in a timely manner.
  • Using metrics to follow trends to ensure proper inventory orders.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or a related field is a plus.
