About the position

The General Manager is responsible for the overall management, coaching, and development of salon managers to ensure quality brand delivery and achieve desired results. This role involves selecting and training high-quality managers, ensuring compliance with operational standards, and driving brand performance and profitability across multiple salons.

Responsibilities

• Select, coach, and develop salon managers to maximize effectiveness and retention.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to managers, holding them accountable for results.
• Conduct timely goal and performance reviews, providing balanced feedback to managers.
• Develop managers' skills and establish development plans, encouraging completion of those plans.
• Hold regular meetings with managers to communicate, educate, and build teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with salon operations processes and brand strategy.
• Monitor customer complaints and respond to serious issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Analyze salon performance against brand measures and take appropriate actions for improvement.
• Manage payroll expenses while maintaining customer experience standards.
• Facilitate salon marketing to improve customer growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in the salon or service industry.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills to develop and motivate managers.
• Excellent communication skills to convey expectations and provide feedback.
• Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
• Experience in managing operational compliance and customer satisfaction.
