About the position

As a General Manager of Food and Beverage Operations at Levy, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while our team members uphold the high hospitality standards that Levy is known for. This position is responsible for overseeing Food & Beverage Operations at the training facilities for Arthur M. Blank Sports & Entertainment's Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United FC. You will be tasked with creating an elevated cafe dining experience that is focused on chef-driven sports performance, catering to players, coaches, staff, and executives. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining positive guest relationships, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and engaging with the financial goals of the operation. In this role, you will be responsible for training and conveying brand clarity through menu, wine, and beverage knowledge. You will promote a positive work environment by effectively hiring and selecting team members, maximizing productivity and morale through engagement, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels based on business needs. You will also be responsible for executing daily reporting, inventory controls, and ensuring that all function setups and breakdowns are executed correctly and efficiently. Your ability to hold team members accountable to steps of service will be crucial in delivering great guest service. Additionally, you will conduct regularly scheduled meetings to ensure open lines of communication between management and team members, and you will utilize performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback. Your positive attitude towards team members will foster a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale. This position requires a strong commitment to maintaining compliance with state, federal, and business regulations, including responsible alcohol service guidelines and safety standards. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the overall success of the operation.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining positive guest relationships including obtaining regular feedback through table visits and executing show quality standards
  • Trains and conveys brand clarity through the menu, wine, and beverage knowledge
  • Promotes a positive work environment through hiring/selection of team members, maximizing productivity and morale through team member engagement, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels per business needs
  • Maintains state, federal and business compliance, including but not limited to responsible alcohol service guidelines, safety and sanitation standards, and client requirements
  • Engages in the financial goals of the operation with support from the Director of Operations
  • Employs good safety and sanitation practices
  • Follows and enforces responsible alcohol service policies
  • Executes required daily reporting in a timely manner
  • Executes inventory controls
  • Ensures team members adhere to Levy guidelines as stated in the team member training manual and employee handbook
  • Executes all menu requirements and fulfills all guest-specific service requests
  • Ensures all function setups and breakdowns are executed correctly, efficiently, and expeditiously
  • Holds team accountable to steps of service to deliver great guest service
  • Ensures team members have the tools necessary to complete their jobs
  • Uses all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team members
  • Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale
  • Conducts regularly scheduled meetings to ensure lines of communication are open between management and team members
  • Interviews, hires, trains, and develops team members according to Levy guidelines
  • Displays a positive attitude towards team members
  • Other duties, as assigned

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a food and beverage operational position
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management is preferred
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
