About the position

The General Manager of Sales and Member Experience at MADabolic is responsible for overseeing all operations and growth of the gym. This role requires a hands-on leader who maximizes brand awareness, leads a team of trainers, and maintains a pristine gym environment. Responsibilities

• Act like a business owner by proactively solving problems that arise.
• Coach 4-6 MADabolic classes per week to bring energy and engagement.
• Make data-driven decisions using KPIs to maximize revenue.
• Oversee the member experience from start to finish enthusiastically.
• Sell memberships and keep members engaged and satisfied.
• Plan and execute grassroots marketing events to generate leads.
• Lead and support the team of trainers and front-desk staff.
• Manage local social media platforms and create brand-aligned content.
• Assess studio inventory and place orders as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the lobby, bathrooms, and gym floor.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in management, sales, customer success, or marketing, preferably in the fitness industry.
• Friendly, outgoing, empathetic, and personable communication skills.
• Accountability and extreme ownership over responsibilities.
• Leadership by example and constructive communication.
• Initiative to take action without being prompted.
• Coachability and willingness to improve based on feedback.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Sales skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Prioritization of health and wellness, capable of performing core MADabolic movements.
