About the position

The General Manager/Consultant for a busy alternative restaurant and club in Hollywood is responsible for overseeing all operations, managing a large team, and ensuring the success of the hospitality program. This role requires a dedicated professional with extensive experience in the food and beverage industry, capable of leading a diverse staff and maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and club.
  • Manage a team of 70 staff members, including back of house, front of house, entertainers, and nightclub staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective bar and food programs.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Manage budgets and financial performance of the establishment.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff members.
  • Coordinate events and entertainment programs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years management experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations.
  • Experience managing large teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to develop and implement operational strategies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proven track record of improving operational efficiency.

Nice-to-haves
