About the position

The General Manager for Perfect Moment at Leap is responsible for leading and managing the store team in SoHo, New York. This role focuses on creating exceptional customer experiences, driving store performance, and achieving business goals. The General Manager will recruit talent, maintain store standards, and execute sales strategies while fostering a positive and engaging work environment.

Responsibilities

• Influence and inspire a team to create memorable in-store experiences.
• Ideate, create, and execute action plans to drive sales and client engagement.
• Recruit top talent for all positions in the store, including Sales Associates and Sales Supervisors.
• Ensure store standards are maintained by delegating tasks related to cleanliness, visual merchandising, and operational tasks.
• Curate and execute in-store activations and support new store openings as needed.
• Embrace learning and leverage new technologies and systems, including Shopify and Slack.
• Operate independently and work effectively under pressure, supporting store opening and closing procedures.
• Build out team schedules while managing payroll effectively.
• Maintain an agile work schedule to support business needs, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• 4+ years of direct management experience.
• 5+ years of customer service and/or luxury retail experience, preferably in a similar category.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to maintain an active floor presence, including standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Comfortable using a ladder and lifting a maximum of 50lbs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Shopify, Endear, Slack, and Google Office is a plus.
