About the position

The Studio Manager at Elements Massage is responsible for overseeing the sales and operations of a massage and skincare studio in Clifton Park, NY. This management position focuses on ensuring a high-quality experience for clients and team members while coaching and developing staff to meet studio goals. The role includes daily operational oversight, staff management, and achieving objectives related to member growth and employee retention.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate desired behavior for staff focusing on membership sales and customer service.
• Provide leadership and managerial presence with clients and employees.
• Maintain quality service by enforcing organizational standards.
• Ensure the studio is clean and adheres to safety and sanitation standards.
• Oversee all studio operations and manage the studio team.
• Conduct sales and customer service training and mentoring.
• Ensure the proprietary client service model is executed flawlessly.
• Manage employee turnover and experience, including recruiting and training.
• Design and implement local studio policies and procedures.
• Assist the studio owner in setting and achieving profit goals.

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years experience in retail or spa management with sales of $1 million per year or more.
• Excellent leadership skills to lead a team efficiently.
• Strength in implementing structure, policies, and procedures.
• Customer service oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with project management capabilities.
• Ability to work flexible days and hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Competent trainer and motivator.
• MindBody Software experience is a plus.
