About the position

Elements Massage® is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Manager / Operations Manager to oversee the sales and operations of our Massage Therapy wellness studio. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in the wellness industry, where you can make a significant impact on the lives of our clients while also driving the success of the studio. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for implementing effective sales strategies, managing daily operations, and ensuring that our team delivers exceptional customer service. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and therapeutic environment for both clients and staff, fostering a culture of wellness and teamwork. In this role, you will lead a team of massage therapists and support staff, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be tasked with developing and implementing policies and procedures that enhance the client experience and improve operational efficiency. Your leadership will be essential in setting expectations, goals, and delegating tasks to ensure that all team members are aligned and working towards common objectives. You will also be responsible for training and motivating staff, helping them to develop their skills and achieve their professional goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management, particularly in sales and operations, and possess excellent leadership skills. You should be customer service-oriented, with the ability to identify and solve problems effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with clients and team members regularly. Additionally, experience with MindBody software is a plus, as it will aid in managing client appointments and studio operations effectively. This position requires flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of our clients and the studio.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee sales and operations for the massage therapy wellness studio.
  • Implement structure, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead and motivate a team of massage therapists and support staff.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered consistently.
  • Identify and solve operational problems as they arise.
  • Set expectations and goals for team performance and delegate tasks accordingly.
  • Train and develop staff to improve their skills and service delivery.
  • Manage scheduling and staffing to meet client demand.

Requirements

  • Experience in management, particularly as a sales manager, operations manager, or general manager.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence and clarity.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying days and hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
