About the position

The General Manager - Speedco at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is responsible for overseeing all operations within the Speedco facility. This role involves managing daily activities, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading a team to deliver exceptional service. The position emphasizes empowerment, allowing managers to take ownership of their locations and drive business success through effective leadership and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations in the Speedco facility.
• Direct and coordinate activities around the shop to enhance customer service.
• Ensure teams focus on customer satisfaction in all interactions.
• Promote sales growth through effective merchandise execution.
• Train and develop team members to deliver world-class service.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in tire, auto parts/repair, Lube Express, or facilities maintenance.
• 2+ years experience managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1+ million.
• 2+ years experience effecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• 2+ years experience supervising and training 5-10 employees.
• Clean and consistent record of safety.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment with varying climates.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs on a regular basis.
• Intermediate level PC skills including MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel.
