About the position

The General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas, serves as the primary strategic business leader responsible for all aspects of property operations. This includes ensuring guest and employee satisfaction, overseeing human resources, managing financial performance, and driving sales and revenue generation. Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of property operations, ensuring guest and employee satisfaction.
  • Oversee financial performance and drive revenue generation strategies.
  • Implement The Ritz-Carlton brand service strategy and initiatives.
  • Hold property leadership accountable for strategy execution and professional development.
  • Engage with the local community and build relationships with local officials and businesses.
  • Develop and execute business plans to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing to create revenue-generating strategies.
  • Foster a high-performance Executive Committee and support employee development.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and brand standards.

Requirements

  • 2-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 8 years of relevant experience; or a 4-year degree with 6 years of experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior management position at a Four Star/Four Diamond hotel is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Demonstrated progressive career growth in the property industry.
