About the position

The position serves as the primary strategic business leader of The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort, overseeing all operational aspects including guest and employee satisfaction, financial performance, and sales. The role is responsible for implementing service strategies to meet guest expectations and drive profitability while ensuring alignment with Marriott's brand objectives. The leader will also engage with the local community and build strong relationships with stakeholders to enhance the property's market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of property operations, ensuring guest and employee satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute business strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to create revenue-generating strategies.
  • Manage talent development and create a high-performance Executive Committee.
  • Analyze business data to inform strategic decisions and improve performance.
  • Foster positive employee relations and ensure fair treatment of all staff.
  • Work with Revenue Management to establish effective pricing strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with property owners and communicate brand initiatives.
  • Engage with guests to gather feedback and improve service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and brand standards.

Requirements

  • 2-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management, or related field with 8 years of relevant experience, or a 4-year degree with 6 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance, or accounting.
  • General Manager experience in a hotel property is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Demonstrated progressive career growth in the property industry.
