About the position

The General Manager at EquipmentShare will be responsible for leading and growing the Industrial Tooling Solutions rental location in Atlanta, GA. This role focuses on building a strong team, managing operations for financial success, and ensuring a safe and productive work environment. The General Manager will also be involved in strategic planning and performance evaluation to drive growth and improve service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build an awesome team by hiring and developing amazing people.
• Conduct reviews and performance evaluations as necessary to produce positive results.
• Train employees and help them improve their skills.
• Manage operations to maximize the financial success of the branch.
• Conduct monthly profit and loss reviews to understand the business and identify areas for improvement.
• Monitor metrics including equipment utilization, warranty recovery, and customer satisfaction.
• Effectively communicate information to your team and management.
• Establish reasonable and measurable goals with well-defined expectations for team members.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing standards and procedures.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years rental industry experience, preferably in a management role.
• Experience within fluid solutions, climate control, power generation, compressed air or site services is highly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
