About the position

The General Manager Wellness Sales is a key leadership role within a fast-growing boutique wellness studio, responsible for overseeing studio operations, sales, and customer service. This position requires a driven individual with a strong focus on guest experience and sales performance, ensuring that the studio meets its operational and financial goals while providing an empowering environment for students participating in yoga classes.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome students for various yoga classes and ensure a positive experience.
  • Oversee the studio's functionality, ensuring maintenance and customer service standards are upheld.
  • Manage and grow revenue streams including memberships and retail sales.
  • Create and execute ongoing marketing plans focused on client acquisition and retention.
  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and mentor studio staff.
  • Manage the studio budget, spending, and reporting.
  • Handle maintenance issues, inventory, and cleaning.
  • Participate in grassroots marketing partnerships to drive new guest traffic.
  • Manage social media presence for the studio.
  • Collaborate with the Studio Owner and National Sales Director to ensure studio health and profitability.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of retail/service sales experience, preferably in membership sales.
  • Demonstrated experience in meeting personal sales goals.
  • Experience in training staff on sales protocols.
  • Proven ability to generate and follow up on leads.
  • Experience supervising staff successfully.
  • Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to excel in a fast-changing environment.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, punctual, reliable, and neat with strong attention to detail.
  • Trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential information.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ClubReady software.
  • Knowledge of yoga or wellness industry.
