About the position

The General Manager at CAVA is responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations and team members, ensuring a guest-focused and team-oriented environment. This role emphasizes leadership, motivation, and the establishment of high standards to create a positive work atmosphere and successful daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop yourself and others, focusing on self-improvement while supporting the success of others.
  • Lead the four-wall operation, managing people development, inventory, labor, staffing, and accountability.
  • Prioritize customer service, ensuring both internal and external customers are satisfied.
  • Create CAVA fanatics by inspiring teams to consistently say 'yes' to every guest.
  • Take ownership of every shift, achieving results and taking pride in the job.
  • Foster collaboration among team members to find success as a group.
  • Adapt to change and solve problems with an open-minded approach.
  • Assist with any additional duties assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize customer service and team development.
  • Experience in managing inventory, labor, and staffing effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to change.
