About the position

The General Manager at TownePlace Suites Clarksville is responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the property, ensuring high performance in guest services, sales, marketing, and profitability. This role involves leading the team in executing property-wide strategies, managing human resources activities, and building relationships with key customers to enhance guest satisfaction and associate engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage general property performance and execute sales and marketing strategies.
• Oversee profitability and revenue generation for the property.
• Lead the team in developing and implementing property-wide strategies.
• Ensure service programs are in place and executed effectively.
• Provide timely feedback to management and associates on service and operational standards.
• Review property GSS scores and comments to improve service quality.
• Manage labor flow between departments to achieve profitability goals.
• Act as project manager for capital improvements and renovations.
• Prepare for quality assurance audits and ensure compliance with standards.
• Manage relationships with key customers and decision-makers.

Requirements

• 2-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 4 years of mixed management experience; or a 4-year bachelor's degree with 2 years of mixed management experience in relevant areas.
• Experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, or management operations.
